Use cases
Five ways this goes wrong.
These are not hypotheticals, and they are not specific to any one company. They are structural — they follow from giving a fast, capable, non-human caller access to systems, and to budgets, that were governed on the assumption a person was asking.
Each one is a governance gap, not a model failure.
In every pattern below, the model behaved reasonably and each individual decision was defensible. What was missing was a control that understood the call itself — who was really asking, what the call would reach, what it would consume, and whether that combination should be allowed.
FaburAI was built for these patterns specifically. Each page states plainly where it changes the outcome — and where it would not have, because a control that claims to solve everything is not a control anyone should trust.
Pick the one that sounds familiar.
Inherited privilege
An agent is handed a credential that was sized for a person exercising judgment. It then acts at machine speed, without the pause a human would have taken, and a destructive operation completes before anyone reviews it.
Read the patternPattern 02Reachability treated as authorization
An agent reaches a system because the network path exists. Nothing ever recorded what that agent was permitted to reach, so the blast radius is defined by connectivity rather than by intent.
Read the patternPattern 03Toxic data joins
Two datasets, each individually approved. The exposure lives in the relationship between them — and a natural-language agent is unusually good at finding that relationship and unusually bad at flagging it.
Read the patternPattern 04AI cost and token waste
Consumption arrives as one number on a bill, aggregated by credential rather than by the agent, application or team that caused it. Without attribution, cost stops being something anyone can manage.
Read the patternPattern 05Shadow AI
An agent starts calling, or a server starts fielding calls, before anyone has reviewed either one. Both are invisible to any control that only knows what was declared.

If one of these is already a live concern in your estate, that is the most useful place to start a conversation.
